Hôm qua IMF và SNB tổ chức High-level Conference on the International Monetary System, tiếc là chưa có website mà mới chỉ có 2 bài phát biểu openning và closing. Hi vọng mấy hôm nữa IMF sẽ mở website và đăng tải các bài phát biểu khác. Money Supply có một bài tóm tắt các thảo luận chính của conference này, trong đó có đoạn sau:
"...there is no panacea in terms of international monetary systems - fixed exchange rates, floating rates, gold standards. Instead, all these systems fail, ultimately because of the bad behaviour of governments. The conclusion was that it was not the system that was at fault -either in the eurozone or in the global financial crisis - but the behaviour of the participants within the system that was at fault."
